Bootcamps

Bootcamps are strenuous and generally involve a mix of aerobic, strength and speed within the components of each session. However, each session will emphasize a different type of drill.

Interval training

Bootcamp can be thought of as a form of interval training, bursts of intense activity alternated with lighter workouts. It usually involves pull ups, pushups, lunges and crunches.

Most individuals have a very strong foundation of strength and aerobic training.

Be sure you thoroughly understand the scope of the bootcamp and its structure before committing to this program. Check on any prerequisites so you are sure you qualify.

Bootcamps are definitely not for everyone.
